The Work
of Angels is based off the short story
Ghost
at the Window by Walt Hicks. It tells an intertwining
story of Guilt and Judgement: An FBI Agent (Sean Marble) makes a life-altering
decision in a back alley as he confronts a Grungy Man (Skip Carlsen)
who uses a Little Girl (Kiersten Pyke) to aid his escape. Six months
later the Agent is sent to investigate a plane crash where he finds
out the pilot, Captain Ross Onus (Brian Clark), was also involved in
a near miss accident which lead to the deaths of eighteen innocent people,
six months prior to this incident. The Agent, now dealing with demons
of his own, pairs up with a mysterious Crime Scene Inspector (Charles
Halford) to find answers that seem to already be there. As the Agent
comes closer to the truth, a circle of paranormal mystery is revealed.
